History and Development

• In 1937, the first large-scale machinery factory in Korea, "Chosun Machinery Manufacturing," was established, marking the initial beginning of the company.
• In 2005, Doosan Group acquired Daewoo Heavy Industries and renamed it Doosan Infracore.
• In 2007, Doosan Group acquired the American company Bobcat, expanding its business scope to the field of construction machinery and becoming a global enterprise.
• In 2021, Hyundai Heavy Industries Group acquired a portion of Doosan Infracore's shares, becoming the seventh-largest manufacturer in the global construction equipment market.
• In March 2023, HD Hyundai Infracore held a shareholder meeting and decided to change its company name from “Hyundai Doosan Infracore” to "HD Hyundai Infracore."

HDI New Chapter
In 2021, the engine and construction machinery division of Doosan Infracore became a vital force in Hyundai Heavy Industries Group and officially rebranded as HD Hyundai Infracore in April 2023. The construction machinery business also launched a new chapter under the brand "DEVELON."

In 1947, Mario Carraro, the founder of Mecc Alte, established an electric motor repair shop in Italy. Today, Mecc Alte has grown into a multinational group with over 1200 employees and produces more than 1400 generators daily. Mecc Alte demonstrates its professionalism and rich experience in design, development, and cost control.
Mecc Alte's brand includes industrial and marine generators, medium and high voltage generators, portable generators, and welding generators (zanardi).

Mecc Alte operates four major production plants in Italy, the UK, China, and India, focusing on manufacturing generators of world-leading quality. The Italy plant produces a full range of 1-5000kVA, the UK plant produces 1-3000kVA, the China plant produces 7.5-3000kVA, and the India plant produces 6.5-750kVA.
